Redundant and Reliable Data Access Network
TBI provides data access on a next-generation, reliable and redundant sub-sea networks from its Network Operation Centre in St David's (Bermuda) through its New York City and Miami PoPs via an ATM and Ethernet based network infrastructure.
In addition to a bi-directional, self-healing ring redundant sub-sea network to our international POPs, TBI has established interconnections with Bermuda Telephone Company (BTC) and Quantum Communications, Bermuda's primary local voice and data access providers.
TBI has local redundant capacity to its NOC with BTC provided via North Shore and Castle Harbour local exchanges and a primary fibre route as well as a high capacity redundant microwave wireless route for Quantum Communications. Complementing TBI's network is the many successful partnerships that TBI has developed with Tier 1 global telecommunications and managed service providers to form a strong technical, commercial and customer focused organization that develops innovative solutions to meet our local and global customer requirements.
