TeleBermuda International – Modeled to Fit the Busy International Communications Market’s Lifestyle. While Helping to Protect Bermuda’s Natural Environment
Hamilton, Bermuda – International voice and data communications provider
TeleBermuda International Limited (TBI) announces their One Bill option that caters to Bermuda’s
long-distance market. Both residential and corporate customers can now combine their TBI
landline and cellular calling plan charges into one monthly statement. Of particular interest to
businesses is the added ability to consolidate voice and data onto one statement.
Gregory Swan, President of TeleBermuda International states, “TBI continues to leverage its
superior technology to enhance the way Bermuda communicates with the rest of the world. Our
new One Bill option allows customers to apply all of their voice plans to a single residential or
corporate account, giving them added convenience and time savings when it comes to
reviewing their monthly bills. With businesses, where time is money, this comes as a bonus.”
A number of internal upgrades at TBI not only enable them to streamline their operations, but
also to serve their customers more efficiently. For instance, with TBI’s recent billing transition
to its new billing platform, TBI cellular customers now have the ability to exercise features previously
unavailable, such as having a wider range of product choices and direct account billing.
Constant upgrades with TBI’s network enables TBI to continue to offer leading edge data products
and services that are the industry’s most advanced. DSL Internet offerings to the business sector
may be customized, and new higher speeds are now available. With the combination of Internet
and long-distance phone service on one bill, a customer can benefit from their One Bill option
resulting in additional savings to the customer. In addition, special voice promotions to all
customers can be made available as a result of a major upgrade in TBI’s billing system.
Voice Product Manager, Tamiko Black adds, “The introduction of TBI’s new billing platform gives
customers greater flexibility to choose a plan that fits their lifestyle. For example, cell customers
can choose the flat rate INFINITY unlimited cellular calling plan for the U.S., Canada, UK and
Ireland enables customers to conduct their business around the island or when traveling
overseas. Not having to incur hotel charges is a major deal, and knowing their contacts can
access them at the same number, especially in the case of an emergency, makes life simpler and
less stressful as well. For the busy customer, a savings in time is realized through the convenience
of debit/credit card billing.” For the less traveled, TBI’s combination of Simply the Best and
2020TBI calling gives customers calling the Rest-Of-World (ROW) the lowest international rates in Bermuda. For instance if one forgets to dial an access code, by default the customer is awarded
the next best TBI rate. Ms. Black concludes, “…so there truly are a number of ways in which TBI’s
customers can see the benefits of our system and our products.”
With TBI’s E-Billing capability, the One Bill option takes on a deeper, more environmentallyfriendly
dimension. “We are proud to contribute to Bermuda Audubon Society to highlight the
significance of online billing to our community. It not only keeps unnecessary paper out of our
environment, and allows you to do other activities, such as lunching in the park instead of
spending that time to pay your bill,” highlighted TBI’s president. Receiving the $1,000 check,
Jennifer Gray, President of the Audubon Society thanked TBI and noted, “Technology does play
an important role in our lives and can have double the benefit when it protects our environment
and helps to reduce the stresses of everyday life. We appreciate the generous contribution TBI is
making to our Society and their efforts to become ‘green’. Money from such donations will be
put toward management of our precious open spaces or protection of our special species and we
encourage the community to follow in the steps of TBI to reduce waste and encourage stewardship
of our beautiful island through monetary donations, responsible lifestyles and days of giving
to the environment.”
