August 18, 2006 - Gregory Swan Appointed President of TeleBermuda International Limited Hamilton, Bermuda, TeleBermuda International Limited (TBI) is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Gregory Swan as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company effective August 1st 2006. Mr. Swan is the first Bermudian to hold this position. Gregory Swan joined TeleBermuda on November 3, 2003 as Vice President, International Development and was responsible for the development and expansion of TBI’s voice and data services internationally through the launch of TBI’s sister company TeleCayman Limited. In March of this year, Mr. Swan was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining TBI, Mr. Swan served as Director of Telecommunications with the Bermuda Civil Service. Additionally, he has held various engineering posts including Senior Operations Engineer during his eleven-year tenure with the Bermuda Electric Light Company Limited. Prior to joining BELCO, Gregory held the position of Development Engineer with AT&T specializing in Cellular Systems and Transmission Equipment Development, and worked directly with AT&T Bell Laboratories on the introduction of new products. Mr. Swan has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. He is both a Registered Professional Engineer and Chartered Engineer and holds memberships in the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
