December 18, 2003 - TeleBermuda International Limited (TBI) has announced the appointment of Mr. Jeffrey Conyers to its Board of Directors CEO James Fitzgerald affirms, “TeleBermuda is privileged to have someone of Mr. Conyers background and calibre join its Board. He has vast experience and we look forward to working with him as a director of TBI.” Mr. Conyers is a British/Bermudian citizen and is a graduate of Trinity College, University of Toronto. He began his professional career as a stockbroker with McLeod, Young and Weir, and MacDougall, MacDougall and MacTier in Toronto. Returning to Bermuda in 1985, he joined the Bank of Bermuda as an Assistant Manager where his focus was Investments and Trusts. He has recently completed his term of office as Chairman of Bermuda International Business Association. A founding Executive Council Member and now a Deputy Chairman of the Bermuda Stock Exchange, he is also a Director of numerous other companies in Bermuda, as well as sitting on various government and industry committees. He holds licenses with the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. as General Securities Principal, Financial and Operations, and Registered Options Principal.
